Trust & transparency
Editorial policy
Armpit products are personal, and most of the internet's advice about them is written by people who never tried the thing. Here's exactly how we work, and how we make money.
How we test
We buy the products we review. When a brand sends us something, we say so on the page.
Every deodorant gets a minimum 14-day wear test across at least two testers — one everyday wearer and one heavy sweater — covering a workday, a workout, and a hot commute.
We score four things: odor control at hour 8 and hour 12, wetness control, skin reaction (especially with baking soda and alcohol formulas), and how the formula behaves on clothing.
Anything that causes irritation in a tester gets flagged in the review, even if it performs well otherwise.
Medical accuracy
Anything touching hyperhidrosis, prescription antiperspirants, or telehealth is written against published clinical guidance — the American Academy of Dermatology, FDA drug labels, and the International Hyperhidrosis Society (sweathelp.org).
Those pages carry a visible last-reviewed date and are re-checked at least quarterly.
Nothing on this site is a diagnosis or a prescription. It is education to help you have a better conversation with a clinician.
How we get paid
Armpits.com is reader-funded through affiliate commissions and telehealth partnerships. If you buy through a link here, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Commission rates never determine ranking. A product that pays us nothing can and does out-rank one that pays well — we note the reasoning in each verdict.
We do not sell placement in roundups, and we do not accept payment to remove criticism.
Corrections and updates
Reviews are refreshed when formulas change, products are discontinued, or better options launch. The 'last reviewed' date on each page reflects the most recent check — not the original publish date.
Spotted something wrong? Tell us at info@armpits.com and we'll correct it and note the change.
